Pam Arnstein

Daughter of two professional musicians, Pam Arnstein has played the violin since she was 8. She had a great private teacher and public school orchestra program in Fargo as well as performing in the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony. She loves seeing old friends and colleagues in the Orchestra Hall audience.

Pam went to college in Illinois to study with the renowned pedagogue Paul Rolland and holds a Master of Music from Madison. She won the Minnesota Orchestra audition, started work in January 1983, and that fall was awarded first prize in the WAMSO Young Artist competition. Pam teaches privately, coaches local youth symphony sectionals, and goes into the public schools giving presentations. She is also a literacy volunteer at her nearby elementary school in Plymouth.
